Recognised for their innovation, investment, and commitment to quality, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable and rewarding career with an industry leader.This is what you'll be doingThe Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the site, carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across machinery and plant equipmentRespond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding on both electrical and mechanical systemsSupport production teams to maintain output and reduce downtimeWork with robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC-controlled machinerySupervise contractors where required, ensuring compliance and safety standardsRecord all work using the site CMMSContribute to continuous improvement projects and TPM initiativesUphold site health, safety, and environmental standards at all timesThe skills and experience you'll bring to the team:Apprentice-trained or qualified in Electrical/Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within manufacturingStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilityKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and PLCs is desirableExperience of using CMMS systems (Shire/Maximo preferred)Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentAnd this is what you'll get in returnSalary up to £50,000 depending on experience25 days holiday + bank holidaysSick pay and life assurance7% matched pension contributionOvertime availableExtensive training and development opportunitiesSecure career prospects with a global businessYou'll be joining a long-established manufacturer with strong year-on-year investment, excellent facilities, and clear opportunities for progression.Are you up to the challenge?Are you what we're looking for?
