Overview

We are seeking multiple 1st Line Engineers to support a large-scale laptop deployment project in Lewisham, London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile rollout, working as part of a dedicated IT support team.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment of laptops to end users, including configuration and setup

Providing 1st line support to resolve basic IT issues during deployment

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Assisting users with initial setup, login, and basic troubleshooting

Escalating complex issues to 2nd line support where necessary

Ensuring accurate documentation of deployed devices and user issues

Following deployment schedules and maintaining efficiency in rollout

Essential Skills & Experience

Prior experience in 1st line IT support or deployment projects

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic networking

Experience in setting up and configuring laptops, software, and peripherals

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team and support non-technical users

Attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately

Desirable Skills

Windows 11 experience

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Intune

Knowledge of ITIL best practices
