Overview

My Client are a leading Bristol based IT technology services provider and cloud solution provider. This dynamic company are currently looking to expand their technical team and currently have a vacancy for an additional 1st line-technical Support Specialist/Software Support Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support in a busy IT environment for Windows PC and Server operations; Office 365 knowledge is advantageous; Linux knowledge is a bonus.
  • Support across the board in all areas of office networks.
  • Collaborate with an MSP environment experience and contribute to ongoing service delivery.
  • Be hardworking and focused on development within a scale-up business.
  • Act as a natural relationship builder with good communication skills.
  • Apply problem-solving abilities and willingness to get involved in projects; handle internal and external remote dial-ups.
  • Be available for on-call duties (1 week in 4), with on-call compensation of £1,500 in addition to the base salary.

Qualifications

  • Ideally previous IT technical support experience in a busy IT environment.
  • K current knowledge of Windows PC and Server operations; Office 365 experience; Linux knowledge is a bonus.
  • Experience across all areas of office networks.
  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic, desire to develop, and ability to thrive in a scale-up environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Natural problem solver with willingness to work on projects.

Additional Details

This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday with normal office hours unless on-call. On-call occurs 1 week in every 4 and is paid at £1,500 in addition to the basic salary. My Client offers a clear career path and development opportunities in cloud/SaaS support.
