Are you a confident, well-rounded IT professional who thrives in a customer-facing environment? We’re working with a fast-growing, modern IT services provider supporting a broad range of customers across multiple sectors. You’ll work both from the company’s Manchester HQ and onsite with customers, delivering end-to-end IT support and consultancy services. This role offers exposure to cloud, networking, virtualisation, and other industry-specific technologies.
The Role:
You’ll be part of a high-performing technical team supporting clients with hardware, software, cloud, and infrastructure services, both remotely and onsite. Strong communication and customer interaction skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT infrastructure including servers, SANs, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, NAS, desktops, and other critical systems.
- Provide remote and onsite support.
- Maintain accurate service desk documentation.
- Manage workload independently or as part of a team.
- Deliver excellent customer service and seek feedback for improvement.
- Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
- Keep up with new technologies and contribute to team capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in Managed Services Service Desk or field-based IT support.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft (Windows Server, Microsoft 365), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls), and virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident, professional, and organized approach.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
Key Stakeholders:
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, leadership, project management) and external customers, vendors, and partners.
- 37.5 hours/week plus additional hours as needed.
