We’re working with a fast-growing, modern IT Services provider that supports a broad range of customers across multiple sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, supportive technical team where no two days are the same.
You’ll work both from the company’s Manchester HQ and directly onsite with customers, delivering end-to-end IT support and consultancy services. This is a varied role offering significant exposure to cloud, networking, virtualisation, and a host of industry-specific technologies.
? The Role:
You’ll be part of a high-performing technical team providing support to clients across hardware, software, cloud, and infrastructure services. This includes both remote and field-based support, so strong communication and customer interaction skills are essential.
? Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support across a wide range of IT infrastructure, including servers, SANs, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, NAS, desktops, and other business-critical systems.
- Deliver both remote and onsite support for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service desk documentation.

- Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 quality and security standards.
- Stay current with new technologies and contribute to the team’s technical capability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a Manged Services Service Desk or Field-based IT support role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft 365), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switching, firewalls), and virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Confident, professional, and organised approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
- Strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
? Key Stakeholders:
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, leadership, and project management) as well as external customers, vendors, and partners.
- 37.5 hours per week (plus additional hours when required)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
