Key Responsibilities
Act as an escalation point for 1st Line support, resolving more complex technical issues. Provide remote and on-site support across client systems, ensuring minimal downtime. Administer and support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory environments. Configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and support networking technologies, including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls. Assist with client IT projects such as cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and new system implementations. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and client environments. Deliver excellent customer service, building strong client relationships.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a
2nd Line IT Support role , ideally within a Managed Services or IT Services environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Windows Server, O365, Active Directory). Experience supporting virtualisation platforms (VMware/Hyper-V). Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls). Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Full UK driving licence (occasional client travel may be required).
