Main responsibilities

Provide first and second line technical support to end users in the use of hardware, software and telecoms services and deliver baseline support activities. Provide advice, documentation and training to end users (office staff, regionally based staff and volunteers) in the use of a variety of different software packages, office systems, operating systems, printers and computer related services. Support and maintain ICT systems, specifically Microsoft 365 services and communication systems. This includes the configuration of ADS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Intune, and the set-up of telephony

Teams, distribution groups, attendant messaging, direct dial routing, voicemail and teleconference services. Maintain cabling, ensuring patch panels are tidy, end points clearly labelled and cabling infrastructure documented. Setup and configure client devices, monitor service pack releases and apply service packs to both servers and client devices. Proactively coordinate pool and meeting room equipment. Set up and induct new users, and deregister users leaving the organisation, ensuring that users have appropriate permissions to access files and applications. While not essential, the following certifications will be highly regarded:

CCNA, MCSA, ITIL Foundation, AZ-900, MCITP: Server Administrator, MCSE: Windows Server.
