The team is hiring a 2nd Line IT Engineer to support a wide range of clients and technologies across networking, Microsoft ecosystems, and project delivery. Apply now!Responsibilities:Provide 2nd Line support for end-users via phone, remote tools, and on-site visitsManage helpdesk tickets, incident resolution, and escalation when neededConfigure and support PCs, servers, and firewallsPerform daily system checks, including backup monitoring and reportingDocument internal processes, maintain client records, and log activities for billing and reportingContribute to the delivery of IT infrastructure projectsSupport internal IT operations as neededParticipate in the out-of-hours (OOH) rota, if requiredEnsure a high standard of client communication and service deliveryAssist account managers with technical input on quotes and client requirementsRequirements:3+ years' experience in an MSP or ISP environmentStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group PoliciesFamiliarity with Microsoft Exchange and Exchange OnlineUnderstanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure Sync fundamentalsExperience supporting Windows, macOS, RDS environmentsStrong grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewall basics)Confident, clear communicator with strong client-facing presenceComfortable in fast-paced, multi-client technical support environmentsExperience with SME clients and project involvementDegree or equivalent in a technical or business disciplineExperience using CRM/ERP tools (e.g. Oracle, Salesforce)Requires on-site presence2 days per week in Chippenham or South Bristol, and 1 day per week at a client site in SalisburyA valid driving licence and personal vehicle are requiredBenefits:Employee share schemeCompany pensionAnnual bonus scheme25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with tenurePrivate healthcareLife assurance and income protectionMental health support via SpillCycle to work schemeDiscounted gym membershipsFree eye testsFinancial wellbeing support through the Hastee appSalary:£33,000 - £35,000 basic salary per annum
