We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) to join on a contract, providing hands-on, customer-facing support at client sites (Mainly Schools) across Dorset.

This is an on-site position where users will approach you directly. You’ll be the go-to for troubleshooting desktops, printers, Office 365 issues, and general IT queries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line support in a fixed on-site location or potentially in a field capacity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues (desktops, laptops, printers, Office 365)
  • Act as the face of IT on-site – approachable, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Ensure smooth IT operations, escalating complex issues when needed

What We're Looking For

  • A strong generalist with solid second-line support experience
  • Confident and professional in a customer-facing environment
  • Skilled in hardware/software troubleshooting and Office 365 support
  • Able to work independently and manage day-to-day user needs
