About the Role
We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical) to join our engineering team at our busy manufacturing site in Cumbria. In this key role, you’ll ensure electrical maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard to support smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out daily electrical maintenance on production machinery and site infrastructure
*
Diagnose faults and complete timely repairs to minimise downtime
*
Work in accordance with all relevant health and safety standards and internal policies
*
Read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation
*
Support site-wide electrical improvements and reliability initiatives
About You
We’re seeking a qualified electrical professional with hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing setting. You’ll bring a proactive, safety-focused approach and a passion for solving problems.
Key Skills & Qualifications
*
Electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
*
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
*
Competence in reading electrical schematics and technical documents
*
17th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th Edition )
*
Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent/apprenticeship)
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
