3rd Line Engineer — Teesside — GBP35 - 42k plus benefits — Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Work in a managed services environment with end-to-end involvement from design and deployment to ongoing service and support.
• Provide customer support with plenty of project work and contribute ideas to expand service offerings.
• Act as a Microsoft-biased engineer with experience in an MSP, in a customer-facing role.
• Utilise a strong all-round IT skillset (Windows Desktop and Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), AD, Azure, Networking) as you would have worked within an MSP.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft-focused background in an MSP environment.
• Experience with Windows Desktop and Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Active Directory, Azure, Networking.
• Customer-facing, service-provider background; able to contribute beyond routine support.
• Hybrid working acceptable; office presence preferred for camaraderie, but not required from day one.

Working Environment & Benefits

This role is in a managed services environment with hybrid working from the start. The team is based in Teesside; the company has recently won contracts and is expanding the team. There is a stated focus on training, development, and progression.
