Overview

CRG | TEC Recruitment is seeking a 3rd line engineer for an MSP based in Teesside. The MSP has recently won contracts and is looking to grow its team. There is room for progression as employees have progressed from apprentices to directors.

Responsibilities

• Work as a 3rd line engineer in a managed services environment with customer-facing responsibilities
• Participate in design, deployment and ongoing service work; contribute ideas and products to expand the service offering
• Provide support to customers with incident resolution and project work
• Operate with a strong Microsoft bias; work across Windows Desktop and Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), AD, Azure, Networking
• Carry an end-to-end remit in a managed services setting, involving design, deployment and ongoing service
• Enjoy an adult environment with hybrid working from the start; preference for office presence for camaraderie

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft bias with experience in an MSP
• Customer-facing background
• General IT skills: Windows Desktop and Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), AD, Azure, Networking
• Ambition to progress beyond support roles; readiness to contribute above and beyond
