You will be developed into an established and valuable team member from day one while contributing directly in a specific, impactful position.What you will be doingNonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure, to support in-service issues.Nonlinear “Virtual Test” simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.Use of advanced numerical simulation packages such as Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.Learn how to correctly identify and simulate the physics of aircraft structural behaviour and develop the engineering judgement to understand the results of simulations.Learn about our aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.Have the opportunity to gain experience in other departments such as Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing.
