We are recruting for a friendly business who are looking for Air Conditioning Engineers in the Kent area.

Responsibilities include;

* Assist with the installation of new systems, and related equipment and ensure safety compliance

* Carry out repairs and deal with breakdowns when they occur, diagnose issues, perform repairs and replace faulty components

* Troubleshoot problems relating to system functionality and feedback to supervisor to promote other business opportunities

* Carry out safety checks to ensure systems meet safety standard, identify potential hazards and address any issues

* Involvement in refurbishments upgrading systems, replacing equipment and optimising energy efficiency

* Being part of the on call team (on rotation) for emergency call outs to provide on call services to address emergency issues

* Responsible for Health and Safety on site

* Completion of risk assessment, RAMs and other required processes to ensure compliance

* Ensure correct use of PPE where required

* Reporting incidents and near misses

* Ensuring the safety of others when completing works

* Carry out the servicing, repair and commissioning of boiler plant, gas appliances and plant room equipment

* Completion of engineer reports, test sheets, service records and other required documentation

* Obtain and log equipment details and part numbers in order to facilitate ordering spares
