Salary and Benefits of an air conditioning engineer:

  • 40-55k basic salary depending on experience - intermediate to senior engineer status and experience
  • Monthly engineers bonus based on personal performance (£300 to £500 per month every month)
  • Plenty of overtime if required and also including a call out rota
  • Van, phone, iPad, fuel card, uniform, specialist tools
  • 22 days holidays + 8 bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Providing service and maintenance on commercial (fixed and portable) air conditioning and some refrigeration equipment
  • Working on air conditioning 95% of the time – splits, multi splits, VRV and VRF equipment as well as some small chillers, the rest of the time on small refrigeration units
  • Covering the London and M25 area
  • Dealing with very well known clients as well as well established HVAC contractors

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally a 5 year+ proven track record within air conditioning service and maintenance on splits, VRV, VRF and small chillers
  • Living in or around the London or M25 area is preferred
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as F Gas certificate and a C&G in air conditioning
