Air Conditioning Engineer – Peterborough

£42,000 – £45,000 with Door-to-Door Travel

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established building services company covering Peterborough and the surrounding region. This is a mobile role carrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on a range of air conditioning systems within commercial environments.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all works are completed to a high standard, maintaining excellent relationships with clients, and representing the company professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and AHU systems.

*

Reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across various commercial sites.

*

Occasional installation or replacement of small systems when required.

*

Complete detailed service reports and documentation accurately.

*

Maintain strong communication with clients and internal service teams.

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Air Conditioning or HVAC Engineer.

*

F-Gas 2079 certification (essential).

*

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (desirable).

*

Full UK Driving Licence.

*

Excellent customer service and fault-finding ability.
