We have an exciting new opportunity for a Stress Engineer to join the Wing Analysis Engineering Team working with the Plant Engineering Team (PET) and A400M team based in Broughton, UK. If successful, you would be located alongside the Broughton wing assembly lines manufacturing Single Aisle, Long Range and A350 wings, and so have the fantastic opportunity to see the physical product every day. The Airbus Broughton plant provides the wings for around half of all aircraft deliveries across the world each year. You would be working alongside a friendly team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads who are all passionate about finding technical solutions to support AIRBUS Wing products.

*HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM *

* Static Stress and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Analysis of Wing Structures in support of Modifications and Non-Conformances working across all civil aircraft programs.

* Analysis of Metallic and Composite Wing Structures within the time, cost and quality parameters.

* Working alongside the Transnational Teams analysing for Future Projects from Initial Concept to End of Life including In-Service Supports and developing digital solutions for automation.

* Ensure the structural design meets programme airworthiness and product requirements utilising the appropriate methods and toolsets, including support of test programmes - coupon testing to the whole airframe.

* Supporting the definition and delivery of investigations to ensure the delivery of technical solutions, collaborate with support functions..

*ABOUT YOU*

* Degree in Engineering with Structural Analysis Background / Modules.

* Hold or be close to holding approval signatory in Static Analysis.

* Knowledge and experience of metallic and composite structures with emphasis on structural analysis.

* Good understanding and ability to analyse and independently solve technical problems.

* Interest in developing digital solutions associated with engineering activities..

* Working in Airbus implies working in an international environment, as such you shall be able to communicate easily in English.
