Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer

to join our Engineering team in Ansty, Coventry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of

aircraft braking system valves , working across all phases of the product lifecycle — from initial design through to production support. If you have a passion for

What You'll Be Doing As an

Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer , you'll: Provide

mechanical and electrical engineering expertise

in the design, testing, maintenance, and improvement of aerospace components. Apply knowledge of

servo valve design and operation

to develop and enhance braking systems. Solve complex technical problems using analysis, experience, and engineering judgment. Manage project documentation, analyse data, and prepare reports. Create

Engineering Change Notices

covering design improvements, obsolescence, source changes, and corrections. Produce customer-required documentation for engineering changes, limited production runs, and production stop orders. Communicate technical information clearly across engineering, production, and quality teams. Develop environmental test objectives to validate design changes, using analysis or similarity where appropriate. Support production and quality teams with technical queries (e.g. drawing interpretation, tear-down reports, non-conformance investigations).

What We're Looking For To be successful as an

Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer , you'll bring: A

degree in Engineering

or equivalent practical experience. Strong knowledge of

mechanical engineering

with a working knowledge of

electrical engineering . A

systematic, analytical approach

to problem-solving. A genuine

passion for aerospace

engineering. Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international).
