This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of aircraft braking system valves, working across all phases of the product lifecycle — from initial design through to production support.If you have a passion for aerospace engineering, strong mechanical expertise with an appreciation of electrical systems, and enjoy solving complex problems, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll Be DoingProvide mechanical and electrical engineering expertise in the design, testing, maintenance, and improvement of aerospace components.Apply knowledge of servo valve design and operation to develop and enhance braking systems.Solve complex technical problems using analysis, experience, and engineering judgment.Manage project documentation, analyse data, and prepare reports.Create Engineering Change Notices covering design improvements, obsolescence, source changes, and corrections.Produce customer-required documentation for engineering changes, limited production runs, and production stop orders.Communicate technical information clearly across engineering, production, and quality teams.Develop environmental test objectives to validate design changes, using analysis or similarity where appropriate.Support production and quality teams with technical queries (e.g. drawing interpretation, tear-down reports, non-conformance investigations).What We’re Looking ForA degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering with a working knowledge of electrical engineering.A systematic, analytical approach to problem-solving.A genuine passion for aerospace engineering.Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international).Benefits PackageCompetitive salary: Up to £69,000 per annum12.5% annual bonusUp to 10% employer pension contributionDeath in service: 3x salaryIncome protection: 50% of salaryOptional medical plan (£45/month) covering up to 75% of costs (physio, dental, acupuncture, minor injuries, etc.)This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer to shape innovative aerospace technology and support the safe, reliable performance of critical aircraft systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
