Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer / Application Specialist for Alphacam and Cabinet Vision software. This role provides technical support to the sales team by delivering product demonstrations, installations, and customer training. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience and enjoys engaging with both technical and business audiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver professional Alphacam software demonstrations for prospective customers (both online and onsite).
- Analyze customer needs and tailor demonstrations to align with their expectations and business goals.
- Install Alphacam software and related components at customer sites or remotely.
- Configure and deliver post-processors, offering technical consulting as needed.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and value realization.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop demo materials, videos, and webinars.
- Build customer trust through technical knowledge and ability to communicate return on investment.
- Prioritize remote delivery when possible, but be available to travel within the UK and Ireland.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Alphacam or a comparable CAD/CAM software.
- Minimum 5 years of machining experience in wood, stone, or composites industries.
- Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to both engineers and decision-makers.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience with software installation and CNC post-processor setup.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
