This is still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us.We’re backed by top healthcare & consumer investors: Y Combinator; Global Founders Capital; AngelList Early Stage Fund; BrandProject; and the founders of Indeed, Curative, Alan, Kaia Health, Vouch Insurance, Not Boring, among others.Read more about working with us: Working at Aios Medical (notion link).Role and responsibilitiesAs Analytics Engineer, you will take ownership of our data stack, build reliable pipelines, make data accessible across teams, and lay the foundations for a future centralized data team.You’ll start within the engineering team, focusing on rebuilding pipelines, ETL jobs to sync sources to the data warehouse, dbt transformations, and ensuring smooth operation. You’ll decide on tooling, sync frequency, and error handling to ensure data reliability. You’ll help define how we measure the business across pre- and post-conversion journeys and work with leadership to build systems and logic to track these metrics. You’ll be both engineer and analyst: making data accessible and meaningful. You’ll be responsible for ensuring pipelines are stable, reporting is self-serve, and laying groundwork for a scalable data function.This is a full-time, fully remote role. You’ll work asynchronously in a timezone of your choice, as long as you’re available for calls around midday Pacific Time when needed. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with the Head of Product and Head of Growth.Key responsibilitiesBuild Stable ETL: Own data flow from 20+ sources into Redshift, reduce manual checks, fix failure points, and ensure day-to-day reliability.Engineering focus: Data warehouse architecture, dbt transformations, pipeline tooling, and decisions that keep data flowing reliably.Analytics: Support Growth (CAC, CPL, funnel metrics) and Product/Ops (time to medication, delivery times); stitch data into clean and trusted metrics.Solo Operator: Operate independently, define what matters, and build backend logic to track it.Strategic partner: Become a decision-maker on data across the organization, balancing reliability, speed, and clarity.QualificationsNeed to Have5+ years of data experience with at least 3+ years in data engineering; owned pipelines, warehouses, and reporting in fast-moving environments.Data Engineering: Built and maintained data pipelines syncing multiple sources into a central warehouse (e.g., Redshift) with robust syncing logic and error handling.Data Models and SQL: Ability to write and optimize complex SQL, work with large datasets, and build reusable data models; comfortable with both ad-hoc analysis and production transformations.Metric clarity: Ability to translate business questions (e.g., CAC, time to medication) into data points and end-to-end tracking.Ownership and autonomy: Capable of defining what to build and tracking it without constant guidance; prior solo operator or early hire experience preferable.Team-building: Experience managing a team or building a data function as the organization scales.Nice to HaveGrowth metrics experience (CAC, CPL, funnel stages) and ability to align with growth leads on dashboards.Clinical/product metrics in healthcare or similar industries (fulfillment speed, delivery time).Analytics tools experience (e.g., Metabase) for data exploration and reporting.RudderStack or similar customer data platforms experience for event tracking and integrations.Strong problem-solving: curiosity to go beyond “why is this broken?” and debug/fix data issues.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation: $90-120k/year inc equityHealthcare: comprehensive medical insurance (if appropriate)Vacation: PTO with a yearly minimum (≥2 weeks/year + local holidays)Remote: fully distributed team, remote-friendlyPersonal development: budget for books, courses, coaching ($1200/yr)Personal wellness: budget for gym and health apps ($1200/yr)Coaching: free biweekly health coachingEquipment: MacBook and home-office equipment provided as neededCulture: opportunity to shape our early-stage cultureHow to applyApply on Ashby or the platform you are in.Email lorena+hiring@joinfella.com with: Resume and LinkedInLocation note: London, United Kingdom; this posting is for remote applicants while reflecting global distributed work.
