Overview
We are looking for an Analytics Consultant to join a fast-paced client team based in the UK. If you're passionate about helping businesses unlock the value in their data and enjoy working in an environment where your insights drive tangible results, this role could be a perfect fit.
You'll work alongside a team of modern data professionals and report to a Lead Analytics Consultant. Your day-to-day will include helping clients build out efficient, scalable analytics stacks, delivering insights, and consulting on modern data tools like dbt, BigQuery, and Looker. You will be instrumental in enabling data-led decision-making and making a significant impact on business strategy across diverse industries.
The Opportunity
This isn’t your average consultancy role. As an Analytics Consultant, you’ll:
- Work directly with clients to understand their data goals and guide them in building modern, cloud-based analytics solutions.
- Design and implement ELT pipelines using tools like dbt and Fivetran.
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker or similar BI tools.
- Participate in discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, and training engagements.
- Collaborate with a team that thrives on knowledge sharing, innovation, and mutual support.
You’ll gain exposure to a range of clients from scale-ups to enterprise, helping shape their data strategies and delivering high-value analytics solutions. This role is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their technical skills while maintaining strong client-facing interactions.
Salary & Location
Location: Remote (UK-based applicants only)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 DOE
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
- 4+ years experience in an analytics or data consultancy role
- Proficiency in SQL and data modelling (preferably with dbt)
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills - able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working in client-facing consultancy projects
- Knowledge of modern data stack tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, Stitch)
- Python for data transformation or automation
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
