What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and optimising the Android operating system at the hardware layer.
• Creating and maintaining customised OS builds that boost speed, stability and security.
• Partnering with hardware and product teams to integrate new features seamlessly.
• Troubleshooting low-level system issues and delivering OTA updates.
• Documenting processes to ensure scalability of future versions.

Main Skills Needed

• Proven experience in Android OS development (AOSP), beyond app-level coding.
• Strong programming in C/C++ and Java.
• Solid understanding of ARM architecture and embedded systems.
• Hands-on background building and maintaining custom Android builds.
• A passion for pushing Android devices beyond the ordinary.
