The JobTo support our ambitious growth plans, we are actively recruiting for several Android Engineers to populate our new Mobile Engineering Pod. Our Engineering Teams are agile, hands-on coders, providing technical solutions across the SDLC to ensure our software development meets the ongoing and diverse needs of our customers. We have a wide variety of fascinating technical challenges to overcome and have ambitions to lead the way for Field Service professionals to get their jobs done more efficiently and effectively. You will utilise an arsenal of market-leading tools and techniques, in order to implement, test, and deliver (at pace) high-quality, reliable products or services. What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain advanced features for our Android Apps using Kotlin, Jetpack and Java, along with Compose (among others)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new featuresEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsImplement and test assigned backlog items to high qualityEnsure regulatory, compliance, app store and design rules, and non-functional requirements are adequately considered for assigned backlog itemsActively collaborate with the Pod on technical decision makingBuild design system componentsBuild tools and techniques that support excellent developer experience when building products and services
What You’ll Bring
Mobile Development background in Android Kotlin / Jetpack / JavaAble to understand commercial realities of delivering a profitable product to marketExperience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrationsFamiliarity with modern architectural/design patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP etc.)Experience using basic test techniques to anticipate errorsExcellent problem-solving and communication skills
