Purpose of the role

Prioritize tasks that support team and company objectives. Collaborate with the Group Manager to ensure timely, aligned engineering contributions.

Deliver innovative, high-quality process and mechanical designs. Stay current with industry trends, participate in design reviews, and apply new techniques to improve quality.

Work closely with Sales, Project Management, and Production to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate clearly, address challenges, and support cohesive outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive proposals, ensuring technical specs meet client needs. Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and evaluate technical solutions under Team Lead guidance.
• Contribute to process and mechanical designs for the vacuum business, including instrumentation and controls. Participate in design reviews and implement feedback for efficient, industry-compliant solutions.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering documents, schematics, and specifications. Ensure accuracy and alignment with quality standards in collaboration with the Team Lead.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to communicate technical details, resolve issues, and support smooth project execution.
• Share knowledge, suggest process enhancements, and contribute innovative ideas to improve efficiency and design quality.
• Maintain up-to-date project records and provide regular technical updates and documentation.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

• University Degree/ Equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Package Units like Vacuum systems, Compressors, Pumps, etc.
• Self-driven and an excellent problem-solving ability, combined with on-the-job training and ongoing learning for the next 3-5 years. It should be part of your personal attitude to become an undisputed vacuum solution expert.
• Must be a good communicator and have spoken and written English.
