Converso is an early-stage SaaS company building AI-powered agentic applications that help businesses manage sales and support conversations across multiple channels.

Our platform unifies messaging (WhatsApp, webchat, and more) with AI agents that work alongside human teams to save time, capture more leads, and deliver better customer experiences.

We already have backend (Java) and frontend (Vue.js) engineering in place. Now we’re looking for an AI Developer to build out the next layer of our platform.

The Opportunity

This is a part-time, remote role (~40 hours/month to start), with scope to increase as we scale.

We’re looking for a developer who’s excited by the chance to:

• Build and deploy AI agents, agent templates, and knowledge base integrations
• Develop RAG pipelines with Python and custom frameworks
• Integrate AI with Converso’s existing messaging infrastructure (WhatsApp, webchat, more to follow)
• Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Pydantic
• Influence technical direction in a fast-moving startup

This is a rare chance to join early, shape the product, and grow with the company.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience (at least 3 years) building AI applications (agents + RAG pipelines)
• Strong Python skills with custom development experience
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic (or similar)
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
• Able to work independently and solve problems with limited guidance
• Strong written and spoken English (must overlap with UK hours)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with n8n, Voiceflow, or orchestration tools
• Java programming (for backend integration)
