About the Role:
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading and delivering innovative building services design across sectors including Data Centres, commercial, healthcare, education, science & tech, and more. You'll manage projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design for building services projects through all RIBA stages.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Liaise with clients, attend meetings, and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and sustainability goals.
- Oversee quality control and project delivery within time and budget constraints.
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng (IET or similar).
- Proven experience in a consultancy or building services environment.
- Strong technical background in electrical systems design (lighting, LV distribution, fire alarm, data, etc.).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and Amtech.
