Associate Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team in either Birmingham or Leicester. As an Associate Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery ofplex building services projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:Leading the mechanical or electrical design process from concept topletionOverseeing the production of detailed calculations, specifications, and technical drawingsManaging project delivery, including resource planning, budgeting, and quality assuranceConducting site inspections and supporting construction-stage activitiesCollaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplinesMentoring junior and intermediate engineers, supporting their developmentContributing to business development, fee proposals, and bid submissionsPromoting sustainable design and innovation across all projectsWhat you'll need to succeed
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related fieldChartered Engineer status (or working towards it)Proven experience delivering building services projects within a consultancy environmentStrong leadership and project management skillsExcellentmunication and client-facing abilitiesProficiency in relevant design software (, AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevp, IES, Dialux, Relux)Full UK driving licenceWhat you'll get in return
