Automated Warehouse Shift Engineer

39 Hours, 3 week rotation of 12 hour shifts (2 days, 2 nights - 5 off, 2 days, 3 nights - 4 off, 3 days, 2 nights - 5 off) As an Automated Warehouse Engineer you will be reporting into the Engineering Supervisor your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuous operation of the warehouse cranes, conveyors, elevators, shuttle cars & Logistics Rail head. To ensure all PPM work is carried out in a safe manner & within set deadlines. Responsible for the efficiency and production of the Warehouse by liaising with Production, Despatch & Filling. The Key Requirements Must be time served in a recognised Apprenticeship in either Electrical Engineering or Multi-skilled (Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering) Qualified to at least HNC/HND Electrical Engineering, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Experience since completing their Apprenticeship In-depth knowledge of three Phase Motors and Inverter Drives Welding & Fabrication (MS biased Technicians) Knowledge of Hoist & Drive gearboxes (MS biased Technicians) PLC Siemens 7 knowledge Good Engineering acumen Knowledge & previous experience in high-pressure Logistics/Warehouse within the food, drinks or packaging environment comfortable with working at heights (up to 35 metres) Experience in Automated Cranes, NASC (Narrow Aisle Stacker Cranes) Advantageous Experience in Automated Conveyor Systems At Encirc, we make, fill and move glass Part of the Vidrala group, we are a market leader in glass container design, manufacturing, bottling and logistics solutions for the UK, Irish and European food and beverages industries.
