Location: Northampton - 5 Days on Site | Rate: £491.07/day (umbrella rate) | IR35: Inside 
Length: 12 months | Start: ASAP or within 4 weeks

We're urgently looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our clients elite engineering team, working exclusively within advanced technologies (not F1).

Key Skills Required:
  • Expert-level programming in Beckhoff TwinCAT and KUKA Robotics

  • Strong background in automation, manufacturing processes, and production machine commissioning

  • Ability to design, develop and validate automation software from scratch

  • Experience working with internal combustion engines, electric machines, and batteries

  • Ideal Candidate:
  • BEng or higher in a relevant field

  • Sharp, analytical mindset with high attention to detail

  • Passionate, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced R&D/manufacturing environments

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
