NA Number of positions 1 Duration of assignment 6 Months Any other working conditions - travel/on call/shifts NA To be published on job boards from below onwards The Role In this role, you will work in Brakes team and work with cross-functional stakeholders from all areas of the business, understanding their requirements, resolving incompatibilities and ensuring the program is delivered to cost, quality, and time. Heres what to expect: Primary interface between the Brakes System (Foundation Brakes) Vehicle Programme team and Manufacturing programme teams. Co-ordinate the joint activities of the key stakeholders (Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, STA) in support of Programme objectives Coordinate Programme specific activities to ensure reliable delivery of the Foundation Brakes targets on behalf of the Centre of Competences Support the Programme Management Team meetings, deliver accurate programme metrics as required and cascade forward planning metrics to Lead Engineers Ensure cross-functional requirements are integrated into the commodity delivery plan (CCDS) In collaboration with the Scrum Master, manage the resolution of Obstacles Plan prototype builds with proto build facilities to deliver customer test properties Your responsibilities: Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that youll need to have to help you succeed here, including: Previous experience in Foundation Brakes Delivery in Automotive field with a track record of delivery Analytical skills with the ability to understand how one issue can impact another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience of stakeholder management Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience Strong working knowledge of change control, product definition and change management processes Ability to manage risks and opportunities Negotiation and adaptability skills Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Avoid repetition) Proven experience in Automotive brakes design & development for OEM or Teir 2 supplier Understanding of vehicle brakes system, mechanical systems, and components. Proficient 3D CAD user -Catia V6, 3DX Experienced in creating and interpreting detailed 2D manufacturing drawings. Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and design optimisation. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and solve problems. Experience with project management / agile methodologies Previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environment. A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes. Able to use structured problem-solving tools and techniques to resolve technical and quality issues. Experience of component verification methods, through component, system, and vehicle level test methods Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Good communication and collaboration skills Demonstrable experience managing and influencing key stakeholders Desirable
skills/knowledge/experience:
(As applicable) Bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering Working knowledge of JIRA, Self-motivating and ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication skills and influence stake holders Supporting the Lead Engineers Supporting manufacturing / launch issues Understanding and previous experience in Agile working mindsets focused within a Scrum methodology.
