One of the world's largest automotive manufacturers based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for a Colour and Materials Design Engineer, to help them develop unique and innovative automotive products. As a Colour and Materials Design Engineer you will lead responsibility for designing and developing sustainable and responsible colour and materials, for core, SVO and bespoke programmes, on a contract basis.

Responsibilities of the Colour and Materials Design Engineer will include:

* Create and realise innovative proof of concepts and material solutions for both interior and exterior applications from concept * Delivering sustainable and responsible material initiatives and methods of make * Participate in weekly design reviews for project progress assessments * Contribution to meetings through suggestions, problem solving and design representation

Qualifications and skills required for the Colour and Materials Design Engineer position:

* Ideally degree qualified * Strong creative and presentation skills * Excellent understanding of product, interior, the design industry in general and automotive design, combined with good aesthetic judgement, colour vision and colour perception * Knowledge of automotive materials, processes and suppliers, with a hig...
