SYSTEM FIELD ENGINEER / PROGRAMMER – AV Control Systems – Europe

About the Role

As aSystem Field Engineer / Programmer, you’ll play a hybrid role combining AV control programming, technical support, system design, and field commissioning. You’ll be involved throughout the lifecycle of AV projects—from design validation and configuration to deployment and troubleshooting. This role requires travel across Europe and hands-on experience with AV control systems.

Key Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in AV system integration, technical support, and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, SQL databases, and networking (TCP/IP, NAT, routers).
Proficiency in Python 3 and familiarity with RS232/RS422, infrared protocols.
Experience with AV control platforms (Extron, AMX, Crestron).
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification in Extron or third-party control systems is a plus.
