The Role:
They are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with around 5+ years of experience. You’ll work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with users and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain cloud-native solutions that support mission-critical outcomes. This role suits somebody who has completed AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or has similar experience.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions in AWS environments
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, following IaC best practices
- Ensure compliance and security requirements are met for all solutions
- Deploy and manage versioned containers in managed container services
- Support continuous improvement of GitOps and CI/CD practices (GitHub Enterprise)
- Work in collaborative Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
What they’re looking for
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or equivalent 5+ years’ experience)
- Strong knowledge of EC2, ECS/EKS, ECR, SSM, and managed database services (SQL/NoSQL)
- Hands-on Terraform and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Skilled Linux user/administrator, with Bash and/or Python scripting ability
- Experience in multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organisations/Control Tower is desirable)
- Experience building and running solutions in an assured environment for Defence, Government, or Public Sector
- Strong communicator and team collaborator
