BI Engineer - SAP S/4HANA ProgrammeLocation: Hybrid (UK-based with occasional on-site in the London)Contract Length: 6 months initialRate: £450 - Outside IR35A leading UK water company is in the midst of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. We're looking for an experienced BI Engineer to support the delivery of robust data pipelines, reporting structures, and SAP-integrated BI solutions that will enable critical operational and regulatory reporting across the organisation.You'll be working in a dynamic, delivery-focused environment alongside SAP consultants, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders, with a particular focus on SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere, and integration of water utility data.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain data models using SAP BW/4HANA, CDS Views, ADSO, and Composite Providers.Build and optimise ETL data flows from SAP S/4HANA, legacy systems, and real-time data sources (e.g. SCADA, telemetry).Deliver robust BI reporting layers to support business-critical dashboards (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).Collaborate with functional teams to understand regulatory and operational data requirements, especially related to OFWAT metrics.Support integration and migration of data into SAP Datasphere (Data Warehouse Cloud).Performance tuning, data validation, and process documentation.Key Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a BI Engineer on SAP S/4HANA programmes.Deep understanding of SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modelling, and CDS views.Hands-on ETL development experience using SLT, SDI, or third-party tools.Proficiency in SQL, ABAP, or Python for data transformation & automation.Background in utility or regulated industries (ideally water) highly desirable.Experience working in hybrid landscapes (SAP + non-SAP systems).Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud.Location: Hybrid (UK-based with occasional on-site in the London)Contract Length: 6 months initialRate: £450 - Outside IR35
