We are recruiting for a specialist fire protection company looking for an experienced CAD Design Engineer to focus on water mist fire suppression systems. This role is fully remote and ideal for a detail-driven designer who thrives in producing accurate, high-quality technical drawings. What You’ll Do

Develop and produce 2D CAD drawings and system schematics for water mist installations. Generate layout drawings, pipework routing, and detailed fabrication/installation drawings. Translate project specifications and consultant requirements into precise CAD designs. Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate, compliant, and ready for site delivery. Maintain drawing registers and ensure revisions are up to date.

What We’re Looking For

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Revit/BIM is an advantage). Previous CAD design experience within water mist or fire protection systems. Solid understanding of hydraulic calculations and relevant standards (e.g. BS, NFPA, LPCB). Ability to manage multiple design projects remotely with excellent attention to detail.
