We're seeking a contract CAD Design Engineer who can demonstrate specific experience with SolidWorks to support the design of cosmetic composite aircraft interior modifications for a UK aerospace programme.

You'll work on non-structural, non-load bearing components - think cabin features and finish details rather than critical structures - with a focus on high-quality cosmetic fit and finish. The role is hands-on in SolidWorks and will suit someone who's comfortable producing accurate, production-ready designs for composite manufacture.

What you'll bring

SolidWorks design expertise

Previous aircraft or aerospace design experience

Composites knowledge (carbon fibre, glass fibre, laminates) preferred

Solidworks license can be provided. Candidates with their own IT equipment preferred.

Contract details

Duration: 3-6 months (with potential extensions)

Location: 1 day per week on site in Bedfordshire

IR35 status: Inside IR35
