CAD Engineer Rochdale £35,000 CAD Engineer The Role This position is to produce and complete specified design drawings required for company projects. You will be using REVIT software to ensure drawings are in line with specifications and company standards / expectations. CAD Engineer Main Responsibilities - Transform conceptual / schematic drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD into working construction documents. - Be able to review drawings to ensure adhereance to established specifications and standards, as well as performing routine drafting and technical tasks as required throughout the project duration. - Participate in the preparation of schematic design, design development, construction documentation. - Maintain quality standards. - Create 3D perspectives. - Perform dimensional, interference, and basic design checks on layouts and sketches. - Produce preliminary drawings. - Correct drawings from automated markups. - Aid the design manager and project managers in creating design programs. - Produce well organized, finished drawings of good appearance, accuracy, clarity and correctness from layouts, sketches and verbal / written instructions.

CAD Engineer The Candidate - Must have HND/HNC or degree in relevant field

Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architectural Technology. - REVIT experience is essential - Must have experience with Building Information Modelling - Experience with AutoCAD - Understanding of design documentation processes, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. - Familiarity with industry standards and specifications e.g. fire protection, building services. - Ability to transform conceptual and schematic designs into detailed construction documents. - Ability to perform dimensional, interference and basic design checks. - Ability to coordinate with external consultants and internal teams. - Competent in reviewing and correcting drawings from mark-ups. - Previous involvement in creating 3D perspectives.
