Overview

Due to our client’s continued growth we are recruiting for a permanent position: CCTV & IT Data Systems Maintenance Support Engineer. Our client is one of the largest UK-based network installation companies, delivering across Retail, Commercial and Industrial locations, including network installations, CCTV & Fire Alarm, digital surveillance, hardware deployment and wireless networks.

Salary: Basic up to £47,000, plus benefits including company van, paid overtime, fuel card, expenses and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Install IT data systems and data cabling installations (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) where applicable.
• Support and maintain CCTV systems and access control installations.
• Work in customer-facing roles and communicate effectively with all levels of customers.
• Be field-based, working locally and UK-wide, with the ability to travel and work away from home as required.
• Maintain documentation and ensure service levels are met.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a installation is preferred.
• Experience installing IT data systems and data cabling installations is desirable.
• Experience with CCTV systems and access control installation is desirable.
• Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
• Customer-facing with good communication skills.
