Your skills in the kitchen will help foster a warm, welcoming environment our residents are proud to call home.What You’ll Be DoingCooking with Care – Prepare, cook, and serve tasty, well-balanced meals that meet the individual dietary needs of our residents.Creative Menu Planning – Collaborate with the Head Chef to craft menus full of variety, nutrition, and seasonal flair.Kitchen Leadership – Oversee daily kitchen operations, keeping things running smoothly, safely, and within budget.Food Safety First – Maintain accurate records, monitor temperatures, and follow best practices in food hygiene.Stock Control – Help manage ordering, rotation, and stock checks to keep everything fresh and well-organized.Clean & Tidy – Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are sparkling clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.What You’ll BringCulinary Qualification – City & Guilds 706 1 & 2 (or working towards equivalent)Team Spirit – A can-do attitude and great collaboration skillsHygiene Know-How – Basic Food Hygiene CertificateCommunication Skills – Clear, friendly, and able to liaise with colleagues and understand resident needsInitiative – Confident working independently and stepping up when neededAbout UsBelsize Healthcare, a proud division of the Care Concern Group, shares in the Group’s reputation as a market-leading, family-owned care provider, with over 100 care homes across the UK.
