OverviewA well-established multi-disciplinary engineering company is seeking Civil Design Engineer Roads & Drainage. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designs and site visits from time to time. This is a hybrid position but this role may be a remote role for the right candidate.ROLEWe are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a background in roads and drainage design from project inception to completion. The role, reporting to a Principal Engineer, will support infrastructure projects and public realm including active travel schemes.This role may be a remote role for the right candidate.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign roads and drainage systems in accordance with client brief and standards.Provide technical guidance to Construction Teams.Attend meetings with local authorities and clients.Conduct site inspections.Prepare detailed project reports and documentation.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in roads and drainage design.Knowledge of local authority regulations and procedures.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.Proficiency in design software (Site 3D, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, Civil 3D or equivalent).Previous experience in Geometric Design.Knowledge of DMRB design standards will be advantageous.Working towards Chartership / Professional Engineer.A ‘can do’ attitude.WHAT WE OFFER (IF LOCATED IN IRELAND)Bonus potential – subject to Company and individual performance.Hybrid WorkingFlexible Hours21 Days holidaysPension SchemeLife Insurance (death in service)Sickness PaymentMaternity LeavePaternity LeaveWellness ProgrammeProfessional MembershipsSponsored EducationCycle To Work SchemeWHAT WE OFFER (IF LOCATED OUTSIDE OF IRELAND AND IN A REMOTE ROLE)You will have to be appointed as an external consultant but you will have the benefit of:Annual bonus and increase (if company operations allow it) #J-18808-Ljbffr
