OverviewERSG Ltd West Sussex, England, United KingdomCivil Drainage Design Engineer (Residential) – We are looking for a Civil Drainage Design Engineer with proven experience in residential developments, ranging from large-scale masterplans (up to 2000 units) to single-plot detailed design. The role involves using Site3D and Causeway Flow to deliver efficient, compliant, and sustainable drainage solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce foul and surface water drainage designs from concept through to construction.Develop drainage strategies and detailed designs for residential schemes of all scales.Use Site3D and Causeway Flow for design, modeling, and drawings.Prepare design reports, calculations, and technical submissions for approval.Apply knowledge of SuDS and local authority/water company standards.Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.Provide design support and resolve site-related drainage issues during construction.RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Experience in residential drainage design (large developments and single-plot).Proficiency in Site3D and Causeway Flow software.Strong understanding of drainage regulations, approval processes, and SuDS.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.TechnologiesSite3DCauseway FlowSuDS knowledgeEqualityERSG are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
