Senior Civil Engineer – Transmission & Distribution

What will you be doing?

• Lead the engineering input on a varied portfolio of infrastructure schemes in the development sector.
• Assess and design site levels, highways and junctions, sewers, SuDS and flood risk management infrastructure from feasibility through to the construction phase.
• Prepare technical engineering reports and preparatory Transport Statements.
• Consult with authorities such as Highways England, EA, local councils and water companies.
• Manage client relationships, provide fee quotes, arrange appointments and manage workload under minimal supervision.

Person Specification

• Minimum of an HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering; IEng or CEng desirable.
• Willingness to progress towards a professional qualification if not held.
• Full driving licence required.
• Experience of S38, S104 and S278 agreements and technical approvals.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Causeway PDS.

Hours and Working Pattern

37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly Monday‑Friday.
