Overview Telecoms Civil engineer / Civil gang We are hiring for an award-winning company offering an exceptional opportunity to join them on a long term basis. Start date Immediate start available. Pay Telecoms Civil engineer will be working on a competitive day rate through a CIS setup. Responsibilities
Civils Operatives perform various tasks, including digging trenches, moving building materials and tools, setting up signs and safety barriers, assisting with duct laying and road re-instatement. Civils Operatives pay close attention to health and safety protocols, including wearing protective clothing and carrying out point of work risk assessments. Good knowledge of NSWRA act & HAUC policies. Past experience with prevention of Fixed penalty notices (FPN's). Understanding of permitting / noticing and how that applies to site set ups. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations ensuring it aligns with the clients' expectations. Past experience dealing with track work, block-ages, box building etc.
Key Requirements
Full UK driving license 6 points or less BT Openreach experience with a Valid NOPS card with their up-to-date qualifications visible NRSWA StreetWorks operative card with the appropriate reinstatement elements on it. Civils Operatives will need to have NRSWA, SA006 and SA002 as a minimum. Mini digger licence is a bonus
