OverviewCivil EngineerOur client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy who are seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, from early feasibility studies right through to detailed design and construction delivery.ResponsibilitiesDeliver design and technical input across infrastructure and civil engineering projects including roads, drainage, utilities, and sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS).Prepare and develop infrastructure strategies to support planning applications and development proposals.Undertake feasibility assessments, option appraisals, and detailed design for a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and energy-related developments.Liaise with statutory bodies, local authorities, and utility providers to support design approvals and compliance.Produce drawings, specifications, and technical reports to support project delivery.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including transport, planning, and environmental specialists.Provide engineering solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with sustainability objectives.QualificationsA degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Experience in infrastructure design, including highways, drainage, utilities, and SUDS.Working knowledge of UK standards, legislation, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroDrainage (or similar).Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders, clients, and statutory consultees.Why This RoleVaried Projects: Involvement across a broad portfolio including residential, commercial, energy, and regeneration schemes.Full Project Lifecycle: Opportunities to contribute from concept and feasibility through to construction delivery.Collaborative Team: Join a forward-thinking consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering sustainable and innovative design solutions.Career Development: Clear routes for progression, mentoring support, and exposure to multidisciplinary project environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
