Opportunity with a Major Consultancy in Civil Engineering

We are currently working with a major consultancy looking to add a Civil Engineer to their division in the City of London.

This consultancy boasts a team of civil and structural engineers recognized nationally for sustainable and integrated design. Their collaborative approach has led to inspiring solutions that are environmentally conscious and sympathetic to their surroundings.

As the team expands, this Engineer position offers the chance to work across various sectors as part of a dedicated team of engineers and technicians.

You will work on medium-sized projects, designing and specifying all aspects of civil works, producing design deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports), conducting site surveys, managing construction stage duties, liaising with clients and design/construction teams, and ensuring project progress aligns with the brief.

About You:

• Degree qualified and working towards chartership
• Experience in surface and foul drainage designs and strategies (preferably with Microdrainage), ground modelling, pavement setting out and design, with knowledge of coordinating below ground drainage services
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, able to take initiative and work independently
• Knowledge of industry best practices for civil engineering designs
• Willingness and ability to obtain security clearance
