Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Data Centre Development About the Role We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to provide technical expertise and design review support across our active projects in the EMEA and APAC regions. This is a remote-first role with minimal travel requirements, your focus will be on markup, technical commentary, coordination, and constructability reviews to ensure high-quality, buildable civil infrastructure design. Working in collaboration with internal teams and external consultants, you will play a critical role in shaping below-ground civil infrastructure, advising on constructability, and coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts. Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance and support to Architectural Engineers (AEs) during programmatic and product design development. Attend and contribute to design meetings, both discipline-specific and multi-disciplinary (internal and external). Review milestone design submissions, coordinating resolution and closure with AEs. Collaborate closely with teams and others on off-site works and special initiatives. Deliver reviews and guidance across a broad range of civil infrastructure disciplines, including: Drainage

(stormwater, foul, industrial

both pumped and gravity) Electrical ducting and buried cable routing

(HV, MV, LV, ELV) Pressure pipe systems

(hydrants, potable/industrial water, blowdown, heat recovery) Fibre optic distribution

(ducted and shallow-trenching systems) Road layouts, traffic routing, and paving design Earthworks

(including preloading, blasting, ground treatment, coordination with geotechnical) Support design management activities across below-ground multidisciplinary coordination efforts. Provide constructability reviews, offering practical input to enhance design execution and reduce risk. Use Google Workspace tools and be open to leveraging AI tools to support tasks and workflows. Report progress and escalate design concerns in a timely manner to the Civil Team Lead. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure design review, coordination, and constructability. MUST have strong utilities design and multidisciplinary coordination Strong understanding of below-ground services, road design, and earthworks. Excellent communicator with proven ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary and cross-regional teams. Familiarity with design management tools (e.g., ACC/BIM platforms). Practical construction or site experience is highly advantageous. Technically confident, detail-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making.
