The Role
We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic, cross-functional teams. In this role, you will work closely with customers, using agile delivery to drive cutting-edge Hybrid Cloud solutions. As a technology-driven professional, you will collaborate with highly skilled Cloud Architects to develop and execute complex solutions for our customers, leveraging the latest technologies in the cloud space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and Kyndryl technical teams to design and deliver Hybrid Cloud solutions.
- Work with Cloud Architects to develop and implement advanced solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Apply your technical expertise to design, integrate, and optimize cloud-based systems.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure solutions align with customer expectations and business goals.
- Lead and contribute to agile delivery processes to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the execution of complex cloud projects, ensuring innovative and effective solutions.
- Leverage your industry knowledge and technical skills to stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Experience
- Expertise in Cloud Platforms: Strong understanding of one or more cloud hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Automation Tools: Proficient with tools such as Terraform, GitHub, and Ansible for automation.
- Scripting and CI/CD: Skilled in scripting languages and tools for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Agile Methods: Experienced in Agile methodologies like Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
- IaaS and PaaS: Worked with platform engineers to automate the provisioning of IaaS and PaaS resources.
- Cloud Operations: Knowledgeable in auto-provisioning and cloud-native operations tooling, along with understanding various operations models.
- Optimising Cloud Solutions: Experience in adopting, enhancing, and optimising cloud solutions for customers.
- Additional Expertise: Familiar with areas like DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Agile delivery practices.
- Networking and Security: Strong knowledge of cloud solution security, especially Kubernetes.
- Continuous Learning: Eager to learn new skills and adapt to evolving cloud technologies.
- Communication Skills: Capable of explaining new technologies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deep expertise in Solutions Architecture & Design, Public Cloud with Customer facing experience and hands-on experience
- Expert level understanding of Systems and Solutions Architecture
- More than one valid certification in any two Public Cloud and one Enterprise
- technologies like VMware Virtualization / Red Hat or Storage / Networking & Security portfolio
