We’re currently seeking Trainee and Experienced Engineers based in London and the Home Counties, within around 15 miles of the M25. Whether you’re just starting out or already have expertise in the field, CLM offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development.

At CLM, we’re looking for individuals who are passionate about technical work and take pride in delivering great service. If you’ve got the right skills and a genuine interest in repairing and servicing commercial catering and laundry equipment, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for engineers who have:

• Technical Skills and Enthusiasm: Whether you’re experienced or just starting, if you’ve got a passion for the work, we’ll provide the training to help you thrive
• Full UK Driving Licence: Essential, as the role involves travelling to customer sites
• Basic Electrical/Plumbing Skills: Not essential but preferred for trainees; electrical/gas qualifications and experience preferred for experienced applicants
• Field-Based Experience: Beneficial but not necessary, as we’re happy to train the right candidates
• Team Spirit: Pride in your work and a desire to grow as part of a friendly, supportive team

Key Responsibilities

As an engineer with CLM Services, you’ll play an important role in maintaining and repairing both commercial catering and laundry equipment. We focus on providing long-lasting solutions and quality repairs, not just quick fixes.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Repair and Maintenance: Carrying out repairs and maintenance on commercial laundry and catering equipment at customer sites
• Safe and Efficient Work: Focusing on quality and safety, addressing the root cause of faults, not just the symptoms
• Site Cleanliness: Leaving the site clean and tidy with the equipment in excellent condition
• Reporting: Completing required reports, including arrival and departure times, and obtaining customer sign-offs where necessary
• Ongoing Training: Keeping up with technical updates and participating in regular training to stay current with the latest standards
• Inventory Management: Managing van stock and job parts through company systems to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences
