*The Role*
We’re hiring a *Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer* to work across a diverse portfolio of properties. This is a multi-skilled role involving both *commercial and domestic gas work* (split approx. 50/50), as well as *some plumbing and wider building services* tasks as part of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
This role is ideal for someone looking for varied work across different sites, who is hands-on, proactive, and flexible.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Installation, service, maintenance and repair of *commercial and domestic gas appliances* (boilers, heating systems, cookers, water heaters). * Diagnose and rectify faults in gas systems efficiently and safely. * Support with *general building services tasks* including plumbing, minor carpentry, and mechanical PPMs. * Accurately complete service reports and safety documentation. * Ensure compliance with *Gas Safe* and health & safety regulations. * Work independently and as part of a mobile team across Greater London and surrounding areas.
*What We’re Looking For*
* *Commercial and Domestic Gas Qualifications* (ACS certifications essential: CCN1, CENWAT, COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1, etc.). * Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (commercial servicing and repair). * Comfortable with *plumbing tasks and multi-trade responsibilities*. * *Own van* required – company will reimburse *fuel costs* and *congestion/ULEZ charges*. * Full UK driving licence. * Strong problem-solving skills and a professional, customer-focused approach. * Ability to work to deadlines and take initiative.
*Desirable (Not Essential)*
* Experience with other building services or maintenance trades (e.g. electrical, carpentry). * Welding or brazing skills.
